La Vy In Japan

Hi, my name is Vy Hoang.

I’m a 26th year old from Montreal, Canada but I’ve been living in Osaka, Japan since 2017. I first came here on a Working Holiday Visa and immediately fell in love with this country.

What was supposed to be a 3 months trip to figure myself out, turned into an appreciation for this countries hospitality and culture.

Travelling has always been a more than just a trip to me. It’s about immersing myself in a completely new culture, it’s about stepping into an uncomfortable zone and reach new boundaries. However, 2017 me could not have fathom the life she is living right now.

I want to share my experiences and what I have learned so far in Japan. From my favourites eats to places I have visited. Reoccurring travels spots to off the beaten paths must-sees.
